Their appearance is both heavy and light thanks to the ladder back. Carved in Oak, the ladder back terminates in a well delineated chamfered scallop. The legs have an unusual textured surface that has been carved in a refined yet rustic chiseled fashion. The canted stretchers add yet another note of purposeful geometry, style and flair.
